Looking for a fast paced and detail oriented candidate with basic construction, drafting, plan reading and spec's knowledge to estimate new construction division overflow. Develop estimates for GC bids to transition clients from other sale reps. Process invitations to bid from retiring book of business to develop its own clientele. Willing to train the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Provide accurate take-offs
- Review leads lists for new commercial construction projects
- Selects projects based on Division’s criteria
- Negotiate pricing from suppliers to achieve sales goals.
- Provide accurate budgets for materials and installation for commercial projects
- Revises estimates & scope based on changes
- Responds & creates RFI’s to GC’s
- Transitioning book of business from retiring Sales Reps into a niche territory/clientele.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Commercial Construction Plan reading.
  • Comfortable using computer applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience working with commercial window coverings a plus
